Omar Galliani
Omar Galliani is an internationally renowned artist who seeks beauty through highly refined drawing and a personal technique in which even the grain of wooden boards can join the symphony of the mysterious and seductive world that hovers in his works. Galliani often depicts female figures and faces, in the timeless dualism between darkness and light, with a style that is rooted in the Italian figurative tradition, while being innovative and contemporary.
Born in 1954 in Montecchio Emilia, where he lives, Omar Galliani studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and teaches painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara.
